  • The Jefferson County Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO) Manager actively pursues potential development and promotes the Madras Airport and Industrial Center.
  • The City of Madras is committed to investing in its airport and industrial center. Lease revenues are dedicated to maintaining the infrastructure for business activity to prosper for the community and the State of Oregon.
  • Over the last decade, the City has worked diligently to invest in its Airport and Industrial Center. Nearly $16.6 million dollars has been invested & planned by the end of 2015 within the airport and industrial center (see back for complete list of recent investment projects).
  • The City of Madras offers its area businesses and residents a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities, has breath-taking mountainous scenery, annual events such as the Airshow of the Cascades, and several public amenities such as the Madras Aquatic Center and soon to be constructed, Performing Arts Center.
