Life Threatening Emergencies or Crimes in Progress
The purpose of the Jefferson County 911 Emergency Telephone
System is to provide for the immediate response of Police,
Fire, or Medical Personnel for emergency occurrences.
Calls received on 911 lines must be restricted to those situations.
Non-Emergency Situations
Non-emergency lines are for crimes in progress or other situations
that require police response, but that are non-life threatening
(loud parties, a group of juveniles loitering in front of
your home, etc...) Non-emergency numbers are listed
below.
