Urban Forestry

Two volunteer vacancies  are open with the Urban Forestry Commission. These volunteer positions meet with the commission on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Works Building on 216 NW “B” Street in Madras.

If you are interested, please submit your letter of interest to The Urban Forestry Commission c/o the City of Madras Public Works Department, 216 NW “B” Street, Madras, OR 97741.

Urban Forestry Commission meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Works Office, 216 NW "B" Street, Madras.

South Highway 97 Corridor Landscape Recommendations

The Urban Forestry Commission is in the process of updating their Urban Forestry Management Plan, which will also update the approved plant list. Once the document is ready, a link will be provided for your convenience.
